Rev. Bryan Dalco

​Rev. Bryan Dalco is a native of Beaumont, TX and a graduate of Prairie View A&M University with a degree in Mathematics/Engineering. He has passionately served as a minister for 28 years. In 2000, Pastor Dalco finished Brite Divinity School with a Master of Divinity Degree. He was ordained in the Central Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church as an Elder in 2002. Pastor Dalco has served several churches under appointment for 24 years in the Central Texas Conference. He is a second term member of the Board of Ordained Ministry in the Central Texas Conference, and currently serves as the Chairperson. Pastor Dalco has also served as Chairperson of the Conference Relations Committee and has served in many other leadership positions within the Central and Texas Annual Conferences. Pastor Dalco has received numerous social and civic acknowledgements for his work in the community during his tenure as a minister. In January 2006, Pastor Dalco relocated to Houston and worked as Executive Director for Bread of Life, Inc., a nonprofit that provides solutions surrounding homelessness through sustaining, equipping, and transforming the forgotten – with compassion. Pastor Dalco also served as Branch Director for Literary Advance, a nonprofit agency whose mission was transforming lives and communities through literacy. In June of 2008, Pastor Dalco was appointed to Trinity East UMC as Senior Pastor, where he effectively revitalized this Historic Church through spiritual and physical renewal. During his tenure at the church, he continued to serve the indigent population through triage care and food distribution programs. Under Pastor Dalco’s leadership, Trinity East UMC received the Harry Denman award for the most profession of faith in the midsize church category. In July 2014, Pastor Dalco returned to serve under appointment in the Central Texas Annual Conference, as Lead Pastor of One Fellowship Church, which was a new church start church developed out of the merger of Bracks and Mt. Zion UMC in Waco, TX. While serving in Waco, Pastor Dalco became engaged in various community programs and served as a mentor for at-risk children at South Waco Elementary; Criminal Justice Chairperson, Waco NAACP; Facilitator, Leadership Plenty Institute; Steering Committee, Today's Action Tomorrow's Leaders; Faith Alliance, Lead organizer; chosen to serve on Waco’s Leadership Forum; and a member of Baylor’s Solid Gold Neighbor Ambassador Council. Pastor Dalco also served as an executive with Prosper Waco in leading initiatives to improve the quality of life for all in the Waco area. Pastor Dalco served as Lead Pastor of St. James UMC in Temple, TX. Currently, Rev. Dalco is the Senior Pastor of Camphor Memorial UMC in Baton Rouge, LA. Pastor Dalco is married to Tara, and is the father of Brandon, Jade, Justin, Bryanna and Tatum.
